How is the process of 3D Printing Stainless Steel done? It begins with creating a 3D digital model of the object using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The digital model is sliced into thin cross-sectional layers using slicing software. Each layer represents a physical layer that will be built during the printing process.
3D stainless steel printer deposits and spreads a thin layer of metal powder over a build platform, and a high-power laser scans the component's cross-section, melting and fusing metal particles together to create the subsequent layer.
